Richard Timothy Gordon, 42, died Saturday, April 14 in Oakdale.

He was born in Modesto. He grew up and lived most of his life in Oakdale.
Jesus Christ was his Lord and Savior.

Mr. Gordon loved to hunt, fish, camp and was an avid four-wheeler, but most of all he just loved spending time with his family. He loved the outdoors and that passion lives on in those close to him, especially his wife and children.

He was always the champion of those that needed his help, defending them as he was able against physical abuse, a father to those without, generous with his time and what he possessed. He will always be remembered and loved for the good he did in his life. He will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his beloved wife and best friend, Michelle; son, Briar; daughter-in-law, Kristy; baby girl, Camryn; mother, Jone; father, Allen; brothers, Roger, Randy, and Allen Jr.; father- and mother-in-law, Dave and Donna Brandon; brothers- and sisters-in-law, Dominic and Michaela Brandon, Nick and Teri Theofanopoulos; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, April 21 at 3304 Ridgemont Court, Modesto.
