Paul D. Hanson, 65, died Monday, Feb. 20 from complications of diabetes.
He was born in Oakdale to Myron and Norma Hanson.
Mr. Hanson worked for TIC Corporation for many years as an electrical engineer in numerous locations and moved home to Oakdale in 2002 to be closer to his family.
He enjoyed projects around the house, hunting, fishing, and camping.
He is survived by his daughters, Jessie Meinen of Rapid City, S.D., Kelly Hanson of Waterford; brother, Carl Hanson of Walnut Creek; sister, Toni Hanson-Owens of Redmond, Ore.; and grandson, Joe Meinen.
No public services are planned.
In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be made in his memory to the American Diabetes Association or to the Kidney Foundation.
