Mildred Mable Dickens, 91, died Friday, May 10.

She was born in Goodman, Mo., the second child of five siblings.

She married Cleo Dickens and moved to Valley Home in 1948 where they raised a son, Davell Dickens.

Mrs. Dickens retired from Hunt Wesson Foods after 36 years and was a member of Retiree Chapter Local #748.

She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother, as she devoted most of her life to her grandchildren.

Survivors include her brother, Raymond Sheehan; son, Davell Dickens; grandchildren, Leandra (Justin) Spence, Greg Dickens, and Katie Dickens; and great-grandchildren, Jaycee Spence, Kenzie Spence, and Levi Dickens.

A graveside service will be at 10 a.m. on Monday May 20 at Lakewood Memorial Park, 900 Santa Fe Ave., Hughson. A gathering will follow.
