Mark Edward Way, 53, died Tuesday, Sept. 21 of natural causes in Clearlake.
He was born in Oakdale. He had lived in Waterford and had moved to Clearlake 10 months ago to be closer to his children and get to know his grandchildren.
Mr. Way worked for Waterford Auto Dismantling as a parts puller and was a backhoe operator for the Oakdale Irrigation District.
He is survived by his partner in life, Becky (Brown) Lindsay; daughter, Tracy Way; son, Jeremy Way, both of Clearlake; mother, Barbara Sigler of Clinton, Ark.; sisters, Michelle Way of Arkansas, Sherree Derrick of Red Bluff, Lenia Way of California; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father, Austin Way.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Kerr Park, Oakdale, those who knew him are invited.
