Marcella Virginia Waldon, 93, died Thursday, Aug. 25 at Los Robles Hospital, Thousand Oaks.
She was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Joseph and Adie (Coffman) Williams.
She married Dudley Waldon. They were married for more than 40 years and raised a son together.
Mrs. Waldon worked as beauty operator for many years early in her career.
Later in life she ran the front office at Dr. Martin’s Optometry in Riverbank. She lived in Riverbank for over 30 years then moved to Simi Valley in 2005 to live with her family.
“Cookie” was a wonderful person and loved by many, she will be missed.
She is survived by her son, Gary (Michelle) Waldon; and grandson, Harley Waldon.
Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, Sept. 2 at Oak Lawn Memorial Park, 431 N. Sierra Ave., Oakdale.
