Manuel Garcia, 75, died Thursday, Jan. 19 of natural causes in Oakdale.
He was born in Winslow, Arizona and lived in the Oakdale area for most of his life. Mr. Garcia served in the U.S. Air Force.
He was a beverage manager. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by his children, Elizabeth (Lisa) Gonzales, Pamala Martin, both of Oakdale, Chris Edwards of Lakeport, Victoria Garcia-Corona of Waterford; mother, Socorro Romero Garcia of Oakdale; brothers, Andy Garcia of Oakdale, Frank Garcia of Modesto, Paul Garcia of Riverbank; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Rose Marie Garcia; father, Esequiel Garcia; and brother, Larry Garcia.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m., on Monday, Jan. 30 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel. A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Oakdale. Burial will follow at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.
