Lucille E. Del Monte, 83, died Sunday, Jan. 29 in Hughson.

She was born to Dominquez and Maria Toledo in Tracy.

She was married for 57 years to Manuel Del Monte and lived in Oakdale for most of her life.

Mrs. Del Monte worked in the poultry business and was a member of the amalgamated meat cutters and butcher workmen union.

She was a vibrant person who did not let her age define her attitude. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Del Monte, Tina Willms, Eileen Lutzke, Vicki Colombo; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life will be at 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 12 at Oakdale Citizens Cemetery.
