Jessica Marie ‘Salena’ Muniain, 21, died Saturday, July 9 as a result of an auto accident.
She was born in Modesto and was a lifelong resident of Oakdale.
She recently graduated and became a medical assistant. She was excited and happy about her new endeavor.
Ms. Muniain was a young mother and rose to the challenge of single motherhood. She loved her son, was a kind and caring person and enjoyed taking care of people. She had a beautiful smile and will be remembered.
She is survived by her son, Nicolas Alexander Muniain; father, Ben Muniain; mother, Donna (George Rose) Muniain; and brother, Dino Muniain.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Tony Lucero and Edith Muniain.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 15 at Oakdale Family Church of the Nazarene.
