James E. ‘Jim’ Curtoni, 78, died Saturday, May 28.
He was born in Oakdale, where he and his wife also raised their family.
He was a cattle rancher all his adult life.
Mr. Curtoni loved spending time with his family and friends. He always enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fly fishing and gardening. His stories and sense of humor will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving wife of nearly 54 years, Beverly Curtoni; children, Michael James (Jacque) Curtoni, Mary Curtoni, and Ann Curtoni (Ray) Lial; daughter-in-law, Lisa Curtoni; grandchildren, Kittie, Michael, John, and Isabella Curtoni; and great-grandson, Jake Wilson, all of Oakdale.
He was preceded in death by his son, John Anthony Curtoni.
Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, June 2 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel with a rosary at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. on Friday, June 3 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Oakdale. Private burial.
