Jackie, of Oakdale, age 63, was born in San Jose, CA to Terry and Frances Merritt. She passed away June 6, 2017 in Modesto. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Donnie Merritt; and her sister, Carol Copp. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jasper Gonzales, of Oakdale; sons, Roche Dubach and Lucas (Marie) Gonzales; daughter, Shelly (Jeff) Norwood; brothers, Ronnie Merritt and Jerry (Cathy) Merritt; sisters, Terri Lee (Mike) Fultz and Lonnie Brooks; as well as five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
She worked at Ace Check Cashing in Oakdale for several years. Jackie loved spending time with her grandchildren and watching them play sports. She enjoyed going to casinos and girls night out. There will be no services with a celebration of life to be held at a future date.
