Iain passed peacefully into his heavenly home on March 30, 2023. The son of James and Sarah Cullen, Iain was born and raised in Scotland. Growing up he enjoyed participating in Boy Scouts, playing soccer with friends, being outdoors and caring for animals.

Iain’s father moved the family to the United States in 1959 and settled in the Bay Area. Iain joined a youth group at the Presbyterian Church in San Francisco where he met Shirley Halstead. The couple married in 1963 and had a daughter. In 1967 the young family moved to the Central Valley and eventually settled in Valley Home. Iain made his career in the insurance field working in various positions including senior auditor and marketing representative. He retired in the year 2000.

Iain loved raising beef cattle, riding horses and taking care of the ranch. He especially enjoyed getting together with other ranchers to help complete tasks with the cows.

Iain is survived by his daughter Carol Myers (Glenn) and his sister Anne Dunning (Ivor). He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Shirley. Iain was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. A graveside service will be held at Lakewood Memorial Park on April 12, 2023 at one o’clock in the afternoon.
