Helen Brimm, 79, died Monday, June 17, 2013 in Modesto after a short illness.

Born in Stockton, she lived most of her life in Oakdale and had worked at Woolworths and Hunt-Wesson. She was a member of Living Hope Christian Fellowship.

Survivors include her husband of 60 years, Carl Brimm; children Susan Gomes (Tommy), Debbie Gomes (Dave) and Beverly McGlothin, all of Oakdale, Craig Brimm (Adeline) of Modesto; siblings Bill Douglas, Linda Shaffer (Danny), all of Oakdale, stepsister Joan Rickman of Tracy; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Hunter Douglas and Dorothy Brimm, brothers Robert Douglas, Tom Douglas and Larry Brimm and granddaughter Jennifer McGlothin.

Visitation will be Monday, June 24 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Oakdale Memorial Chapel.

Services will be Tuesday, June 25 at 11 a.m. at the chapel with interment at Oak Lawn Memorial Park.

There will be a gathering held after at the Oakdale Rodeo Grounds.
