Dorothy Lorraine Schulter, 79, passed away on Saturday, May 26 after a long battle with heart disease.

Her final days were peacefully spent surrounded by her family.

Cody, her pride and joy Bichon, known as “Prince of Tucson,” also brought her happiness in her final days.

Born in San Jose, CA to Tom and Maime Tomasello, she graduated from San Jose High School.

She was married for 34 years to Charles (Chuck) Schulter and they enjoyed many years of traveling the country in their motor coach, where her kindness and loving spirit nurtured long lasting friendships.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Schulter is survived by her children; Lynda Dorset (Charlie), Michael Weil, Lori Erwin (Gary), and David Weil (Krista); grandchildren Kristen Dorset Termini (Jason), Kevin Dorset, Kenneth Dorset, Anthony Dorset (Joey), Brian Dorset (Erika), Robert Erwin, Thomas Erwin, Leeanne Weil, David Weil, and Michael McKinnon; her brother, Tom Tomasello; sisters Elizabeth Brown and Dolly Spindler; as well as Chuck’s children Jerry Schulter (Claire, children Matthew and Michael), Felicia Trammell (Wade) and Martin Schulter ( Sue, children Brittany, Kyle and Kimberly).

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Anna.

She will be missed by everyone she met.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her life on Friday, June 1 at Oakdale Memorial Chapel for a viewing at 9 a.m. and services at 11 a.m.
