She was born in Modesto. She was a sophomore at Waterford High School.

She was beautiful inside and out, with a strong, passionate, and loving personality. She always wanted to help others and had an infectious smile and eyes that sparkled. She was loved by all who knew her and will be remembered forever and always.

Survivors include her mother and stepfather, Vanzy DePalma-Kalanta and Michael Kalanta; father, David Henderson; sister, Paige Henderson; grandparents, Maria DePalma, Dr. William Kalanta, and Bud and Sharon Henderson; uncles, Frank (Stefani) DePalma, Steven (Carol) Henderson, Bobby Henderson; aunt, Lauren Kalanta; cousins, Nicole and Makayla, and Fallon; great-grandmother, Hester Garrison; and niece, Dublyn.

Visitation was held Feb. 20 with funeral services held on Feb. 21 and a reception following. Burial was held Feb. 22.
