state stan

Stanislaus State will host Feria de Educacion for the first time as part of Warrior Expo 2026, the University’s fifth annual signature open house, on Saturday, Oct. 17 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Presented in partnership with Univision and the Parent Institute for Quality Education (PIQE), Feria de Educacion will add bilingual college-readiness resources designed to help students and families navigate higher education. Attendees will have access to academic programs, admissions and financial aid information, student services, college-readiness workshops, scholarship information and community resources.

The combined event is free and open to prospective students, current students, families, educators, alumni and community members. Free parking will also be available.

The event will include campus tours, academic exploration, bilingual family engagement, college and career readiness resources, community partner connections, family-focused programming, cultural performances, food vendors and opportunities to connect with Stan State students, faculty and staff.

Programming will include sessions and resources focused on first-generation students and families, FAFSA and California Dream Act applications, admissions support, as well as resources for families and parent engagement.

An opening ceremony will be held from 10 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the University Student Center Outdoor Stage on Saturday, Oct. 17 and campus tours will depart every 30 minutes from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. from the front of Vasche Library.

Stanislaus State is at One University Circle, Turlock.

The addition of Feria de Educacion brings a robust bilingual college-readiness experience to Stan State for the first time, giving Central Valley students and families an opportunity to explore the University while accessing practical information, resources and support for navigating the path to college.
