We were so happy to see the rain! The fields are green, the creeks are rising, and although we need more rain, we are grateful for the amount we have had recently!

With spring on its way, our Valley Home 4-Hers are making plans for their springtime community service projects. The 4-Hers will be helping with the “Love Valley Home” clean up day coming up on April 5th and 6th. The 4-Hers will be planting wildflowers, chopping weeds, and sharing the joy and fun that comes from working together and having pride in ones community. Our hats go off to our young people!

Another sign of spring is girls softball! Both Melinda Koppinger and Amanda Kerns are members of the Oakdale High Mustang softball team. Valley Home is very proud of these two very talented young women. Go Mustangs!

Much excitement in the Verdegaal family as Dave and Ronda welcomed a new granddaughter! If you see Ronda ask to see her pictures…she is one proud grandma! Also creating excitement in the Verdegaal household is daughter Gracie and son Clay. Both are talented exhibitors on the show circuit. This wonderful family stays very busy!
