Lots of excitement in the air as we hear rumors that there is a stirring of spooky things that go bump in the night beginning to stir in our Valley Home community! Have you heard strange noises in the night, a moan here or a groan there? These weird sounds seem to be emanating from the area around Valley Home Community Park! If you stroll by the park these October evenings you can hear whisperings in the air. Listen! You can hear voices calling, “Join us in the Mausoleum for the Monster’s Masquerade!” For an evening of fun and thrills, our Valley Home Community Park will be crawling with creepy creatures and scary monsters on Saturday, October 29th, from 7-9 p.m. and will magically become the Valley Home Haunted Park.

Valley Home 4-H members are hosting the Monster’s Masquerade and invite you to attend this special event! For an evening of great Halloween fun, “Please wait for our grave digger to escort you through the Haunted Cemetery to the Mausoleum,” and an evening of ghosts and games! Admission is free, but there will be a collection box present, if you would like to bring a canned or non-perishable food item for the holiday baskets that our 4-H club donates to local families.

Enjoy an evening with monsters and music! “We’re dying to eat…uhh…meet you!!!”
