Valley Home PTC members promise us a fun packed evening featuring great food, desserts and lots of prizes on Friday, March 2, when they hold their annual “Let it Roll” game night fundraiser. You won’t want to miss the fun, so grab a pen, circle the date on your calendar and plan to join the crowd at the Valley Home School at the MPR/Gym located at 13231 Pioneer Ave. Enjoy a perfect opportunity to visit with parents, neighbors and school staff as the annual evening festivities always promise a good time for all. Dinner will be served at 6:30 p.m. and the game play will begin at 7:30 p.m. Seating is limited for the event so be sure to obtain your tickets as soon as possible by calling 840-3178. PTC members remind us that they are also accepting donations through Wednesday, February 29 to help make the event a success. Anyone making a donation of $100 or more will receive one free dinner ticket. Contact the above number to donate.

It is cook’s night out for Valley Home residents this week. So gather up the family and amble on down to the Valley Home School MPR/gym on Pioneer Avenue this coming Saturday and get ready for another great dinner and evening out at the First Annual Tri Tip Dinner on March 3. Take out dinners will be available from 5-6 p.m. Seated dinner will be from 6-8:30 p.m. Dinner for adults is priced at $15.00 with children ages 6-10 only $7.00. Dinner includes: tri tip, baked potato, green beans, salad, a roll and dessert. Tickets are available through any 4-H member!
There will also be a silent auction with lots of goodies in addition to a door prize drawing of a horseshoe planter. Chairpersons for event are Ashley and Christina Barreto and they ask everyone to please join them by making the event a successful dinner so that they can make plans to offer the event again next year. If you would like to purchase dinner tickets, donate an item for the silent auction or make a donation toward the dinner item, please contact Ashley or Christina at 847-6470 or 499-4160.

Austin Dickens and Garrett Bryhni have been busy getting in practice games for this season with the Mustang baseball teams.

Cooper Bartholomew bought a pea hen to go with the beautiful peacock that he owns with brother Cody. Soon Valley Home will hear the beautiful sounds of many peacocks!

Word around Valley Home is that our very own Zack Shepherd is a very talented singer. We can’t wait to hear this future star sing one of his favorite songs.

Tamara McConnel just returned home from a short but fun road trip to Arizona.

Lainey Smith has been working hard and is really enjoying having her own place. Besides working, Lainey is attending college. She still finds time to come home and visit mom, Tammie, dad Ron and sister, Halley.
