There is a new painted double-yellow line on Lone Tree Road from the county line to Steinegul Road. The entire stretch is now a no passing zone. You have to accept this action as a step in the right direction as it can be just the beginning for more safety rules for Lone Tree Road. Sometimes these county regulations take a while to show their worth. Presumably, the county is trying to curb the multitude of bad driving behavior in this corridor.

Our Valley Home 4-H’ers had a wonderful time and were financially successful at their annual Box Social. Goodies of every kind were auctioned off. A special thank goes to Gary Lewis who acted as our auctioneer. Helping him with the auction were ring men Sam Fletcher, Conner and Colin McKinzie, Cody Bartholomew and Jacob Nunes. Next up for the 4-H is their Tri-Tip Dinner on March 16th as mentioned above. Proceeds will benefit the Valley Home 4-H Club and also individuals selling tickets for their trip to Disneyland in April.
