Please be aware! Last week our neighbor had his catalytic converter stolen. This is very unusual for our area, but obviously there is a criminal element visiting Valley Home. This happened on Freelove near Valley Home Road, most likely in the late hours.

We invite each of you to join us on July 31st 2021; please mark your calendars! We will be having a very special event in Valley Home. We will honor our beautiful Bonnie and all who fight cancer. Team Bonnie will raise much needed funds for cancer research! All money raised will go to the “Relay For Life.” Our area “Relay For Life” Chairperson Marg Jackson will be here to assist and receive the funds on behalf of the Valley Home team.
You are invited to share your tributes and photos of your friends and family whose lives have been touched by cancer. Please send copies only, no originals please. I will let you know very soon where to send tributes and photos.
This very special event will begin at 4:00 pm in the afternoon with activities ending at midnight. All are welcome! During the evening we will be dedicating our school Multi-Purpose Room to our beloved Bonnie. She did so much every day for so many people. Her heart was pure and caring ... she dedicated her life to helping others! This very special evening will be a time of great joy, a time of remembrance and happy times ... as we raise much needed funds for cancer research! A very special part of our evening will be “Bonnies Closet”, our 2021 eighth grade class legacy!
Sweet treats for all! We will have the most delicious delicacies in the Barretto/Mattos Sweet Shoppe. Come enjoy! Several different venues will be available for your eating enjoyment. Tasty tri-tip sandwich meals, linguica, polish, hot dogs, and delicious tamales await you! Shady relaxing eating areas will provide comfortable places to eat and visit with family and friends. A very special car show, along with music, bingo, raffle and a silent auction will provide fun for all! At our park an amazing petting zoo, fun games, and tasty carnival food will make for a great afternoon. At sunset a beautiful slide show will pay tribute to Bonnie and all who fight cancer! While raising funds for cancer research we will enjoy a very special evening. Free treats will be provided all throughout the evening! More exciting details to come!
