Valley Home News
Valley Home

Our Valley Home 4-Hers are back from their Disneyland trip! Wow, what fun they are having! While enjoying the rides and sights of Disneyland, Violet and Daisy Haynes met up with their fellow 4-Her Millie Cox. The three good friends from Valley Home School were thrilled to see each other, in the middle of Disneyland. Valley Home 4-Hers work hard throughout the year to raise money for their activities and club trips. Now that they have returned from Disneyland it is time to get their 4-H animals and their fair projects ready for opening day. Among the projects that sisters Violet and Daisy will enter will be a goat and poultry. Good friend Millie will be entering a dish garden and a shoe box float. It’s always fun to hear about the projects our 4-Hers will be entering in the Stanislaus County Fair. We will be sharing some of their stories over the next few weeks. If you have a story about your fair project that you would like to share, please let me know!

Our Oakdale High FFA members are also busy finishing their projects and getting animals ready for fair. FFA officers recently returned from an exciting officer retreat. The FFA officers and teachers worked together planning the coming year activities and events. Please remember our 4-H and FFA students would greatly appreciate your support at the upcoming County Fair. Our kids work hard and count on your support! On sale day its usually hard for them to part with their animal, they have gotten up early to work their animal every morning for the past few months, they have fed the very best feed possible, sale day is an exciting day, a day 4-H members and FFA students have worked towards for months! Please consider supporting sale day with any amount you possibly can.
