Sixth Annual Black Power Matters: Navigating Power and Inequality in the Age of Artificial Intelligence. The 2024 Ethnic Studies Black History Month event at Stanislaus State takes place on Wednesday, Feb. 28, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Turlock campus. AI and digital technologies are increasingly becoming tools that reinforce inequalities and injustices that are disproportionately affecting marginalized communities. Join us as we explore the intersection of AI, digital technologies and social justice and how these tools can perpetuate anti-Black racism and power imbalances.
