Due to New Year’s Day falling on the first Sunday of the month – January 1 – with the first Sunday being the normal meeting day for the local Good Time Accordion Club, members have announced that their January meeting will be held on January 8. For this month only, the session will move to the second Sunday so as not to conflict with the holiday.

Time remains the same, with the gathering at 2:30 p.m., hosted at the Escalon United Methodist Church, 2000 Jackson Ave., Escalon.

Admission is $5; there are free refreshments provided.

The club presents musicians of all levels and many musical styles. Anyone can bring an accordion and play or just come to enjoy listening to the musical performances. Additional 2023 gatherings are scheduled for Feb. 5, March 5, April 9, May 7, June 4, July 2, Aug. 6, Sept. 3, Oct. 1, Nov. 5 and Dec. 3.
