The Winter Homecoming Court was crowned as part of the Friday night, Jan. 24 wrap up of the week’s Homecoming festivities at Oakdale High School. Taking time to smile for the camera after receiving the crowns were, from left, King Gage McPhee, Queen Afton Daley, Prince Grant Edwards and Princess Kylie Nunes. On the court, the basketball Mustangs hosted East Union in the Homecoming contest, with senior Michael Echavarria scoring 15 points in the  varsity loss. Second photo shows newly announced Queen Afton Daley, all smiles as she receives her crown and gets ready to accept congratulatory hugs from the rest of the court on Friday night. The evening also featured announcement of the Hall Decoration Award winners, with that honor going to the sophomore class.
