SUNDAY, OCT. 4
8:23 a.m. – Deputies observed a vehicle driving recklessly on Oakdale Road south of Claribel Road. The vehicle was involved in a vehicle collision at the intersection of Oakdale Road and Sylvan Avenue when it ran a red light. Modesto Police responded to investigate the traffic collision. At the end of the investigation, the adult male driver was arrested by deputies for reckless driving. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
4:10 p.m. – Theft investigated by deputies at Target. The juvenile female was released to a parent, and the case was forwarded to the District Attorney’s Office for charges.
6:11 p.m. – Deputies investigated a stolen vehicle report at Galaxy Theaters.
SATURDAY, OCT. 3
12:39 a.m. – Deputies investigated a family disturbance in the 3600 block of Stanislaus Street. An adult male involved in the disturbance was found to be heavily intoxicated in front of the residence. He was arrested for public intoxication, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center, and booked.
11:14 a.m. – Public nuisance call investigated by deputies in front of Kohl’s. An adult male was contacted in the Crossroads Shopping Center. He was found to have stolen from Kohl’s earlier and was also intoxicated. He was transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
2 p.m. – Deputies investigated an injury vehicle collision at Oakdale Road and Patterson Road. The collision involved two vehicles that resulted in a head-on collision. One of the drivers involved was unresponsive at the scene and transported to a local hospital. The Sheriff’s Office Major Accident Investigation Team (MAIT) responded to investigate the collision. All parties involved were expected to survive at the conclusion of the investigation.
6:10 p.m. – Theft investigation by deputies at Target. A juvenile male was detained by loss prevention officers. It was also learned that the juvenile stole from Kohl’s as well. Based on the subject being a juvenile, he was released to a parent, and the case was sent to the District Attorney’s Office for charges.
8:14 p.m. – Deputies investigated a report of a subject harassing people in the 3300 block of Santa Fe Street. An adult male was contacted and found to be intoxicated. He was arrested for public intoxication, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center and booked.
10:01 p.m. – Non-injury vehicle collision investigated by deputies at Callander Avenue and Santa Fe Street.
FRIDAY, OCT. 2
12:01 a.m. – Deputies contacted a subject at Arizona Avenue and Seventh Street. The subject was found to be heavily intoxicated. The adult male was arrested for public intoxication, transported to the Stanislaus Detention Center, and booked.
9 a.m. – Theft investigation by deputies in the 6200 block of Claus Road. The victim left his vehicle unlocked and the suspect entered the vehicle and stole items from inside.
1:27 p.m. – Deputies investigated a non-injury vehicle collision at Morrill Road and Howard Avenue.
2:25 p.m. – Theft reported at Target. Deputies said the adult male was caught trying to steal Pokémon cards. He had no prior criminal history and was released with a citation.
3:21 p.m. – Deputies investigated the report of a victim being scammed out of $120 in the 6300 block of Eighth Street.
5:04 p.m. – Non-injury vehicle collision reported at Claribel Road and Roselle Avenue.
5:37 p.m. – Deputies investigated a report of a subject brandishing a handgun at another person during a road rage incident, near Atchison and First streets.
7:09 p.m. – Minor-injury vehicle collision investigated by deputies at Atchison and Fourth streets.

11:23 p.m. – Deputies investigated a report of a missing person in the 2000 block of Woodhaven.
