On Sunday, Oct. 10 at approximately 1:30 a.m., deputies were dispatched to someone punching a window out and then entered the home. Upon arrival the suspect took off running. After a perimeter was set, deputies located a 20-year-old man and arrested him for outstanding warrants.

Authorities noted that, “Saturday’s Cheese and Wine Festival went very well. Attendance seemed on par with years past and we had a very good crowd. No arrests were made, however two were escorted out of the event for minor violations of event rules.”

Deputies also investigated a dispute on Morrill Road on Saturday, Oct. 9 in the evening.

Just after midnight on Saturday, deputies responded to the report of a suspicious male in the 3700 block of Nevada Avenue. They located a male matching the description; the 20-year-old was arrested for an outstanding warrant for his arrest.

During the morning on Friday, Oct. 8, deputies investigated a non-injury collision in the Crossroads Shopping Center.

During the early evening on Friday, deputies responded to a non-injury collision at Claus and Claribel Roads. The investigation was turned over to CHP.

Deputies stopped a vehicle near Patterson and Oakdale roads for vehicle code violations on Friday evening. The driver, a 45-year-old man, was arrested for an outstanding warrant.
