Police Investigating Saturday Night Homicide

Oakdale Police were dispatched to the area of South Yosemite Avenue and East G Street shortly after 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 4 for a report of a subject with a stab wound. When officers arrived on scene, they located a 21-year-old male with what appeared to be a knife wound to his chest. Officers attempted first aid and called emergency medical services to the scene. The victim was transported to a local area hospital for life-threatening wounds, where he succumbed to his injuries. The name of the victim is not being released at this time pending notification to next of kin.

Officers searched the area for the suspects, however located no one matching the description.
