Second Harvest of the Greater Valley continues its mission to fight hunger in local communities with a new round of Mobile Fresh stops scheduled this week across the region, including stops in Oakdale and Modesto on Friday, Oct. 24.
The Mobile Fresh program offers free groceries to families and individuals in need, with no income verification required. Organizers encourage participants to bring a cart or sturdy bag for their groceries, arrive on time, and spread the word to neighbors.
Upcoming stops include:
Thursday, Oct. 23 – Ceres CFHS, 1317 Grandview Ave., 9 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 24 – Oakdale St. Mary’s, 1225 Olive St., 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Friday, Oct. 24 – Modesto Via Dolorosa, 1331 Cascade Ave., 11 a.m. to 12 p.m.
“Another week, another chance to stock up,” Second Harvest shared in its community outreach message. “Thank you for supporting your neighbors and being part of a community that cares.”
