Knights Ferry School graduate Emalee Watson has returned to the “little school on the hill” to run an afterschool art program. Emalee comes from a very talented and crafty family, her mom, Laura Watson has contributed to many projects around the school including fairy houses on the campus. I remember when Emalee was in school, she was an amazing artist! Emalee has helped the 4th-8th graders work on painting and portraits and the kindergarten-3rd graders have been experimenting with various mediums with a focus on shapes and colors. Emalee is very excited for this school year and was happy to see the kids responding well to the program. Emalee hopes to inspire the artist in all the kids and she hopes they will want to continue with art in the future!
