Several members of the Oakdale Rotary Club recently joined in with representatives of the Children’s Guardian House in Oakdale, the service club presenting a $2,500 donation to the organization that provides emergency housing and programs for children and families in crisis. Rotary leaders said it was part of an outreach effort to help meet needs in the community. Other funds – also $2500 donations – were given to the Oakdale Rescue Mission and the Oakdale Police Department. Rotarians also enjoyed tours of both the Guardian House and Rescue Mission.
