After the painting of the downtown windows, the dress up days and games, and a rally, the Oakdale High School Homecoming celebration expanded to welcome the community to join in the fun for the Friday afternoon parade, Oct. 2.

With some colorful floats and the royalty candidates featured as well, the parade left the school and went east along G Street, then turned around near the Oakdale Joint Unified School District office at the corner of South Third Avenue and East G, heading back to the school the way they had come.
