The Beginning Band program is busting at the seams in the Oakdale Joint Unified School District due to some ideas the district’s band instructor Ross McGinnis implemented. However, the increase has resulted in a gap between the number of budding musicians and available instruments. While the program managed to round up a few dozen used instruments, still more are needed.
