Oakdale Educational Foundation will host its annual fundraiser this Saturday, Sept. 30 from 5:30 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event will be hosted at the Oakdale Golf and Country Club, 243 N. Stearns Road, Oakdale. This year’s theme is Boots and Bling.
The event will include dinner, entertainment, dancing and auction opportunities. Tickets may be purchased by e-mailing email@example.com. Proceeds from the event benefit students throughout Oakdale Joint Unified School District.
The Oakdale Jazz Band will play at the start of the event. There will be silent auction items from local businesses, as well as a raffle. The raffle items are an adult sized picnic table from the Ag Department, a kid sized picnic table from the Ag Department, Disney Hopper Passes donated by Disney, and a Laptop donated by Best Buy. Raffle Tickets are $20 each or 6 for $100.
A Live Auction will be emceed by Pete Simoncini. Live Auction Items include a Mexico Beach Week, Dinner on the Dam, Tunnel Tour, Monterey Peninsula Golf Outing and more.
Since 2004, OEF has raised well over $1 million for the Oakdale Joint Unified School District kids and teachers. Every dollar counts and donations are put towards many programs that directly benefit children of Oakdale.
