A noontime probation search on Thursday, June 9 by members of the Oakdale Police and Stanislaus County Probation Department resulted in the discovery of methamphetamine and the probationer, a convicted felon, going to jail for possessing the drugs and prohibited firearms. Oakdale Police Sergeant Joseph Carrillo said that the team of officers conducted the search on the 500 block of East H Street and at the time of the contact, three other persons were in the house, all of whom were also on searchable probation. During the search, officers found methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia along with three firearms in the subject’s bedroom.
