After completing a comprehensive recruitment process, the City of Oakdale has announced the promotion of Colleen Andersen to the position of Council Services and Legislative Records Manager/Deputy City Clerk. In this capacity, Andersen will work closely with the City Manager, City Council, and all City department heads.
Andersen brings a wealth of experience to the City of Oakdale in this new capacity. She has been with the City of Oakdale since 2006, serving in a variety of positions, most recently as a Management Analyst for Public Services, working with building, planning and engineering and working directly for the Public Services Director. In addition, she serves as Clerk of the Board for the Oakdale Fire Protection District and has been serving as “Acting” Council Services and Legislative Records Manager since the departure of Julie Christel, who previously held that position.
“Ms. Andersen is an extremely talented individual who has been successful in every position where she has served at the City of Oakdale,” said City Manager Bryan Whitemyer. “I am confident that she will excel in this new opportunity.”
