Recently retired Oakdale Joint Unified School District employee Janice Bender was all smiles on Friday, July 13 as she welcomed customers, serving as a guest greeter for the west side Starbucks. Well-wishers, colleagues, friends and coffee house regulars made a special stop, giving the coffee shop one of its busiest Fridays to date.
