Youngsters Take Stage In Sonora For Annie KIDS
srt annie

With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone’s hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan’s evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire, Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Annie KIDS will play for two performances, Friday and Saturday, July 30 and 31, outdoors in Sierra Rep’s upper parking lot and audiences are encouraged to bring their own lawn chairs. Sierra Rep is at 13891 Mono Way, Sonora. The parking lot will open at 6 p.m. for both performances. Picnics are encouraged and concessions will be made available for purchase. To get into the New York mood, pizza slices from Vinney’s Italian Kitchen will be available for purchase as will wine, beer, and soft drinks. Both performances of Annie KIDS will begin at 7:30 p.m.; the show runs a half hour.
