Good Trouble Tribute Being Offered Through Gallo Center

The Gallo Center Repertory Company, GCRC, is proud to present its newest virtual theatre presentation: “Good Trouble: A Tribute to John Lewis and the Freedom Riders.” Produced and directed by Jim Johnson with videography and editing by Wes Page, this production features outstanding performances by a stellar cast from Sankofa Theatre Company.

This salute to the late congressman and Civil Rights icon is the eighth in a series of virtual video productions created during the COVID-19 pandemic by GCRC. COVID-19 safety protocols were observed during the filming of this and all previous virtual programs. All participants are non-paid volunteers.

The Gallo Center for the Arts is at 1000 I St., downtown Modesto. The Gallo Center ticket office is closed until further notice, but members of the ticket office staff are working behind the scenes to help people get tickets to the various program offerings.
