Richard Quinn Henley and Amy Lynn Leider, both of Livermore, have announced their plans to wed in October 2009.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Herman and Marjorie Leider of Livermore. She is a 1982 graduate of Granada High School. She has also earned degrees from the University of California, Davis in 1987; University of Montana in 1990; Colorado State University in 2000 and the University of North Texas in 2006. Her sister is Karen L. Fichman.
The prospective groom is the son of William and Diane Henley of Oakdale. He is a 1982 graduate of Riverbank High School. He earned degrees from the University of Nevada, Reno in 1987 and Colorado State University in 1991. His sister is Dawn M. Henley.
The two are veterinarians with the United States Department of Agriculture, Food Safety and Inspection Service and are based in Alameda.
They have plans to marry at Castlewood Country Club in Pleasanton. They plan to honeymoon in Loreto, Baja California, Mexico. They will continue to reside in Livermore.
