Adam Mansfield Bartlett and Marlene Ann Sawyer have announced their plans to wed in August 2012.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Charles Sawyer and Frances Sawyer of Escalon. She graduated from Escalon High School and University of California, Los Angeles. She is employed with Ghirardelli Chocolates in the Marketing Department. She has two brothers, Greg Sawyer and Scott Sawyer.
The prospective bridegroom is the son of Kendall Bartlett and Sally Bartlett of Chula Vista. He graduated from Eastlake High School and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. He is employed with Old Navy as Manager of Capital Investments. He has a brother, Brian Bartlett.
The couple became engaged in 2011, with the future groom getting down on one knee and proposing at Easter dinner in front of the future bride’s family and extended family.
They are planning an Aug. 25, 2012 wedding at St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in San Francisco and the reception will be at the Presidio Golf Club, also in San Francisco.
