A boy, Ethan Richard Ford, was born September 8, 2009 to expectant parents Bill and Katrina Ford of Oakdale. The newborn weighed eight pounds, 10 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

The mother is the former Katrina Allen.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Anthony Allen, Alissa Ford, Isaac Ford, Tasha Ford, Carissa Morales, Cassie Ford and Logan Ford.

Debra Allen of Stockton and the late John Allen are the maternal grandparents.

Bill Cochran and Luci and Charles Ford, all of Waterford, are paternal grandparents.
