A boy, Alexander Andres Perez, was born March 20, 2011 to expectant parents Gerardo Perez, Jr. and Desirea Nicole Duran of Oakdale. The newborn weighed six pounds, 10 ounces upon arrival at Oak Valley Hospital.

Welcoming the newcomer home were older siblings Jayleen and Xavier.
