Modesto Nuts Release 2019 Season Promotional Schedule

The Modesto Nuts have released their 2019 promotional calendar highlighting an exciting home schedule at John Thurman Field.

The Nuts, the Class A-Advanced Affiliate of the Seattle Mariners, are bringing back family entertainment to the Central Valley that can’t be beat. Many fan favorite promotions return for the 2019 season such as Star Wars Night, Superhero Night, Graffiti Night and an Independence Day celebration.

“Baseball is back. We’re excited to welcome all Nuts fans back for another great season at John Thurman Field.” said Zach Brockman, Modesto Nuts General Manager.

This season, the Modesto Nuts will feature Family Sundays, Make Mondays Matter courtesy of Valley First Credit Union, Trivia Tuesdays, Wiener Wednesdays featuring $1 hot dogs and a Silver Sluggers program on Wednesdays courtesy of The Park at Modesto, “Distinctive Independent Living,” and Thirsty Thursdays.

The Nuts are also returning several promotions aimed at giving back to the community including Breast Cancer Awareness presented by Sutter Central Valley Hospitals with a jersey auction and post-game fireworks, Child Safety Night presented by Modesto Irrigation District, Hometown Heroes presented by Crystal Creamery, Military Appreciation Night presented by Always Private Security Service, Faith and Family Night, Fire Prevention Night and Leukemia and Lymphoma Night presented by The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society complete with a jersey auction.

The 2019 season will also be host to Friday Fireworks as well as the all new “Copa de la Diversión” (“It’s Fun to be a Fan”) program. Copa is a new platform created by Minor League Baseball that authentically connects MiLB teams with their diverse communities, embracing the culture and values that resonate most with Hispanics/Latinos. The Nuts will be rebranding the team for five nights tailoring specifically to the Latin community. Fireworks will also be bursting out from the sky on “Copa de la Diversión” nights. These nights will be the last Saturday game of each month.

The Nuts begin their 2019 schedule in Lancaster against the JetHawks on Thursday, April 4 at The Hangar. The Nuts’ home opener is Thursday, April 11 at 7:05 p.m. at John Thurman Field.

Tickets start at only $8. Tickets can be purchased online at modestonuts.com, under the tickets & promotions tab, by simply clicking on individual tickets. The Modesto Nuts Box Office is also open at John Thurman Field, Monday through Friday, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.; game days from 9 a.m. to end of game.

Opening Night, Thursday, April 11 the Nuts are up against the Stockton Ports at 7:05 p.m. Opening Night will also feature magnet schedule giveaway and post-game fireworks.

April 12: Opening Weekend with Friday Night Fireworks presented by Stanislaus County PHAST Youth Coalition; April 13: Leukemia & Lymphoma Night with a Jersey Auction presented by The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society; May 10: Breast Cancer Awareness Night presented by Sutter Central Valley Hospitals with a Jersey Auction and Post-Game Fireworks.

Also, June 15: Star Wars Night; July 3: Independence Day Fireworks Celebration presented by Valley First Credit Union; Copa de la Diversión Nights: April 27, May 25, June 29, July 27, Aug. 31, presented by Health Plan of San Joaquin.
