Oakdale’s varsity basketball programs kicked off the season with the Foundation Game, a contest that doesn’t count in the standings but raises money for schools throughout the area. In girls action against Stagg on the home court, Brooke Wheat works to dribble the ball down the court against the tight defense. The boys game saw freshman Beau Kesterson going up strong to the hoop. Both varsity teams for the Mustangs came away with Foundation Game victories.
