Dear Editor,
I wonder why the “farmer’s market” isn’t held at the Bianchi center (that is city owned) where there are amenities such as clean restrooms and drinking fountains and places to sit? I also wonder why the vendors (farmers) charge as much for fruit as the markets do? Since they don’t have to go through brokers where the prices are marked up and again at the markets, the prices should be lower. When I sold items I made my money through volume sales, not inflated pricing.
