Cordano Served Community Well

Our community recently lost a special member, Colleen Cordano. Our dear friend, and long-time member of the Oakdale Women’s Club, passed away on December 28, 2020. We are thankful for her contributions to Oakdale, alongside the OWC, bettering our town and serving our residents and students.

Colleen served as OWC President from 2008 to 2010, and again from 2012 to 2014. During her reign she raised many friends and funds to benefit Oakdale. She was awarded prestigious recognition from the OWC membership, given to only eight members since the club’s creation in 1907: Oakdale Woman of the Year (2012-2013).

We are thankful for Colleen Cordano, for her friendship and support of our hometown. She will be fondly remembered and dearly missed.
