Dear Editor,
I was very honored to receive the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Chamber of Commerce banquet on Friday, January 15th but was even more honored by the presence of such wonderful deserving people who were also honored for their great contributions. Oakdale is a great, giving and supportive community and there are many who deserve to be recognized. Being added to a great list of people who received the award before me, many of whom have been huge role models in my life, gives me great pleasure.
I would again like to say Thank You to the Oakdale Chamber of Commerce who put on a delightful evening and a Big Thank You needs to go to The Oakdale Leader for doing such a great job of covering the event, not only in the previous weeks but also during the actual awards banquet.
A job well done.
