Oakdale is my home.

I have lived here for over 60 years. I want to thank Chief West, the Oakdale Police Officers who responded, and the Sheriff’s Department for coming to my aid at my home on Tioga Avenue several months ago. I was looking out of my back window before going to bed and saw a hooded man sitting on my deck rocking back and forth. Needless to say, it was a disturbing situation, especially for a woman in her 80’s living alone.

They were there for me and they handled the situation in a kind and professional manner. The man was arrested and taken away. It is very comforting to know that we have a Police Chief and Police Officers that do not let a line in the road stop them from protecting the Seniors in our community.

Thank you again Chief West and Oakdale Police Officers. I am proud to be an Oakdalean …
