Dear Editor,

Recently we had to deal with the unfortunate experience of having a neighbor pass away in her sleep during the night. Her daughter found her the next morning and came to our house for a little support. We live out in the country a bit and a 911 call soon brought the ambulance, Fire Department, and a couple of Stanislaus County Sheriff’s deputies.

Needless to say the young daughter was very distraught and upset. I would like to thank all of the emergency personnel that responded. They were great in dealing with the overall situation. I would especially like to thank Deputy Victor Vincent. He went about his duties in a very professional manner and showed much compassion and understanding while dealing with the very emotional circumstances. He was very patient and caring with all concerned and helped guide us all through the ordeal.
