WARREN ROBERT CLIPPER

Warren passed away on January 31 at Samaritan Village, Hughson, California.
Warren was born to Claire and Muriel Clipper on June 5, 1924 in Gooding, Idaho. He moved to Oakdale in 1931 and graduated from Oakdale High School in 1943. That same year he enlisted in the Navy where he served in World War II. After the war he returned to Oakdale and married Barbara Andersen in 1949. They moved into their Oakdale home as bride and groom where they lived for 63 years and raised their two sons, Dave and Dan.
For 39 years Warren worked for PG&E as a District Representative while also farming almonds on their ranch. In his free time Warren loved to golf and travel with family and friends. Warren was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara. He leaves behind his brother, Dale Clipper, his two sons, Dave Clipper and Dan Clipper (Lee), three grandchildren, Whitney Elizondo (Michael), Courtney Winter (Andrew) and Justin Arnold and six great-grandchildren, Ethan, Lincoln and Sadie Elizondo and Rex, Ace and Demi Winter.
A memorial service will be held on February 11 at 11 a.m. at the Oakdale Memorial Chapel, 830 West F Street. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Samaritan’s Purse.
